A long Winter or Spring stay anytime between November and March will provide a unique opportunity to truly  unwind and relax  in the  most beautiful surroundings,  with ideal temperatures for walking and exploring or just pottering!

Unlike the big tourist resorts, nothing shuts down here in the Winter.  So you can live like the locals, shop in the village, practise your Spanish, visit the tapas bars for a leisurely coffee or cerveza whilst soaking up the Winter sun! 

Winter days can be very warm, we  often  sit outside with a book and have a BBQ lunch!  Then retire indoors for the evening to the woodburner with a nice bottle of vino, maybe just chill out infront of the TV!

The evening skies are usually brilliantly clear and awash with stars, pop on a fleece and stay outside longer!

In Spring time the wild flowers and gorse are just wonderful, poppies, lavender, rosemary,  even sweet peas!  The almond blossom in January is simply stunning and so sweet smelling totally permeating the air around you.................

NB.  Please note it does rain here at times, so a brolly is a useful thing plus the ability to smile and remain cheerful when the sun takes a day  or two off!  However, the beauty of a longer rental is that you should expect to enjoy  overall milder weather with a reasonable supply of  sunshine thrown in.....................................

We stayed at Finca Manolo for our second time, for 10 weeks, from December through to February and loved every minute of it.  A home from home with everything we could ask for  and more.
It's a real sun trap, beautifully positioned, up in the mountains with fantastic old charm throughout.

We enjoyed many BBQ evenings by the pool with the added bonus of an outside kitchen with the company of its two resident cats who are both adorable.  We had an amazing time, lazing around and enjoying the peacefulness of the place.  The village is very handy and  you can get all amenities at very reasonable prices. 

Great for couples wanting a romantic retreat or for families wanting to get away from it all but with the bonus of a beautiful pool (although not heated so quite cold in the deep mid winter!) and a hot spa that overlooks the mountains but also very private.

The owners are always extremely helpful with family on hand if needed.
