ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES

In order to  allow time to prepare for each new arrival, your holiday accommodation will normally be available from 4pm on the day of arrival until 10am on the day of departure.  Any deviation from this must be agreed in advance.  Change-over days  vary from property to property, so please check the individual property descriptions before booking. If you have a particular arrival day in mind, please contact us for further information.

DIRECTIONS TO YOUR PROPERTY

We will supply copmprehensive written directions for your accommodation, which will have been tried and tested, and therefore, proven to have  been formerly  effective.  We are unable to accept responsibility however, where roads may become temporarily closed or routes altered without our prior knowledge.  The party Leader is responsible for ensuring he/she is in possession of this information (PLEASE ENSURE YOU BRING ALL THE PAGES!)together with the details for collecting and returning the keys.

CAR HIRE

As most of our properties benefit from rural locations, Car hire is not only recommended but Essential. If you are in any doubt, please contact us.

LOCATIONS, VIEWS AND TRACKS

Some, BUT NOT ALL, of our properties are located along dirt tracks and this will be indicated in the property description. Although driving along the mountain roads may require some adjustment, most people find that they adapt fairly quickly, and it goes without saying that the views are well worth it!

All the properties we offer (unless specified differently) are considered accessable  by car (or 4 wheel drive wheel - where indicated) under normal circumstances.

Some of the most spectacular views are found at the more out of the way places, however, please note that views may change according to local activity and occasionally the surroundings may appear different from the photos supplied.

SWIMMING POOLS/SAFETY

Swimming pools need to be maintained regularly. This may involve the occasional, and usually only slight disruption. Parents of young children must ensure that they are supervised at all times. This is a mandatory requirement where ANY pool exists, and especially where  swimming pools are not fenced in. Please refer to the individual property descriptions and please also note that some pools do not have shallow ends. At some properties, pool are only in use between April and October, and this is indicated in the property description. Please note, that where pools are open all year round. these are generally NOT heated, the water temperature will therefore, only reflect external weather conditions and temperatures

WE already do and will ENDEAVOUR TO continue to PROVIDE ALL OUR PROPERTIES WITH SMOKE AND CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTORS, we ask our guests to double-check these are working upon their arrival, and at weekly intervals. You are reminded that these should NEVER be tampered with or switched off.  We also aim to ensure that each property has at least one small fire extinguisher and fire blanket.

PROPERTY/GARDEN  MAINTAINANCE

From time to time routine repairs/garden upkeep may be required and we will endeavour to ensure that any interruptions are kept to a minimum.

DOMESTIC ANIMALS/the local wildlife!

There is generally a different approach here to domestic animals, many of whom may appear to be left to wander where they please!   However,  please note that Finca Manolo does actually have it´s very own set of  OUTDOOR cats, which are well cared-for, fed, watered,  neutered, spayed, flea´d and wormed.  If you are not fond of cats, though, please feel free to shoo them away, they are not agressive and will get the message!  (Although it is fair to say that our small family of extremely affectionate cats often receive as much praise  from our guests, as our home does)!

SATELLITE TV

Where satellite TV is specified, please note that this may not always include English channels Alternatively, many of the properties will have limited UK channels only.

BATHROOMS

This description could apply to a shower room - without bath - or a bath with shower attachment.

TRAVEL COTS

Please request at the time of booking; these are usually supplied subject to availbaility, where a small  extra charge may apply, and are not always available at every property, in which case, you are generally welcome to bring your own. Clients use these additional facilities at their own discretion

We do not accept liability for any loss of life, injury or personal accident, nor can we accept responsibility for any loss of posessions during your stay.

WHEN IN SPAIN . . . . . .

AND FINALLY, the Spanish way of life has MUCH to commend it, however, electricity and water supplies may sometimes be erratic; occasionally, power supplies fail and water shortages occur - for   apparently no reason!

Whilst our beautiful rural locations are far removed from the bustle of city life, the countryside has a sound of it’s own; cockerells crowing, donkeys baying, bullfrogs croaking, mosquitoes buzzing and dogs barking!!  An integral part of Countrylife – which has a distinct appeal all of it’s own!

We would, however, ask you to bear this in mind when booking your holiday with us!
